The text you type is set entirely in your browser and is never sent to our servers. We do not ask for an account and we do not store your input.

Every typeface is served from this site, not from a third-party font CDN, so rendering a specimen discloses nothing to anyone else. Exports — PNG, SVG and the printable sheet — are produced on your device and are never uploaded.

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which tools get used, because otherwise we are guessing about what to build next. It records pages viewed, approximate location from a truncated IP address, and general device and browser information. It sets cookies and sends that data to Google. It never receives the text you type or the files you export, because those never leave your browser in the first place.

Alongside it we run Plausible, a cookieless analytics tool on a server we operate ourselves. It records the page, the referring site and a coarse device and country reading, and it sets no cookies and builds no cross-site profile. It sees no more of your input or exports than Google Analytics does, which is nothing.

If you would rather not be counted, any tracker blocker or your browser’s Do Not Track setting will stop it, and every tool on this site keeps working normally with it blocked.
