These are Unicode characters rather than a typeface, so they paste straight into a bio or username. Screen readers cannot read them and search engines cannot index them — use the image tab when the lettering has to be printed, cut or read aloud.

How to use it
80 characters is not much — choose the style accordingly
The TikTok bio caps at 80 characters, roughly half of Instagram's. Every substitution style here is one character in and one out, so your text costs the same as it would plain. The four combining styles are not free: strikethrough, underline, overline and slashed add a hidden mark after every letter, so a 45-character bio silently becomes 90 and stops fitting. On a field this short that difference decides whether your bio saves at all.
Name and username follow different rules
The @username accepts only letters, numbers, underscores and periods, so no styled text will save there — the field simply rejects it. The display name above it does accept these characters, as do captions and comments. If a paste keeps disappearing, check which of the two fields you are editing.
On-video text is the app's own editor, not this
The text styles you get when adding captions onto the video are real typefaces TikTok renders into the frame, with their own outline and background options. They have nothing to do with the bio and cannot be exported. If you want lettering burned into a video or a thumbnail, use the Image tab here for a transparent PNG — that keeps the exact shape on every device, which pasted Unicode never guarantees.
Styled names do not surface in search
TikTok search matches the plain characters in your username and display name. A styled display name will not match a search for its ordinary spelling, so anyone hunting for you by name comes up empty. Creators who want to be findable keep the display name readable and move the styling into the bio, where nothing is indexed against it.
